To the tune of the Beatles' "Yesterday"

Allergies...
rhinitis is taking over me...
more snot than I thought that there could be...
oh, I'm beset...by allergies

Help me, please...
sneezing, coughing now exhaustingly...
is there any simple remedy?
oh, allergies have bested me...

why..they...will not go, I don't know! they're here for keeps...
my head's stuffed up tight and at night I cannot sleep... (oh, oh, oh)

Allergies...
and "non-drowsy" antihistamines...
will I ever see the end of these?
Oh, suffering from allergies...

Suffering...from allergies.

UPDATE:
Allergies...
off to see the ENT at 3:00.
A nice man whose name is RASHleigh...
otorhinolaryngology.

Alice,
I hate to laugh when you are in such misery, but this is hilarious!
I hope you get to feeling better. For the past 20 years or so, I have suffered from horrible allergies, or so I thought... Turns out that I have mild allergies, but I had deviated septum which was blocking off both nasal passages. I have now had surgery and I can actually breathe.
I am not trying to turn this on to me, I am simply suggesting you might want to go to an Ear Nose and Throat doctor and eliminate that possiblity.
God bless you y Salud!

Good advice, Denise. I have been thinking the same thing--that I need to go to an ENT. My left ear stays pretty much full of fluid all the time, and my tonsils are always swollen. My regular doctor thinks I may need my tonsils out or even tubes in my ears! So a trip to the ENT may be my next step...

Alice,

I agree with Denise. You need to go to an ENT.

I'm sorry that you are struggling so much with this right now. What a pain!

This was a cute post though.

Love, Eric

Eric--glad you liked it. I'm online right now looking at our insurance website to see if I need a referral to an ENT or can just call one direct. My next song parody will be something about doctors and their exhorbitant bills. Love you.

Thanks for the chuckle...sorry it had to be at your expense.

Have you tried Olive Tree Leaf extract? I am eager to try it myself. One of my friends got off Claritin and olive tree leaf works better for her!

Shannon--glad I could give you a laugh!

Bethany--I haven't tried that. I'll look for it at our local organic health food store ("Brighter Day" is its name.)

At least the allergies haven't affected your humor :-)

Hey, Renata--No, I still think the best way to deal with things in life is to try to see the humor in them. If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? (other people, duh!) No, really, I would think Stan would sympathize with me--is he having allergy trouble there like he did in WF?
