On Sunday evening we asked someone to snap a quick picture of our family. Here it is:
Okay....So I'm the overweight one second from the left.... next to my handsome husband and surrounded by our three cute kids. I think it's time to go back on a strict diet.

You are inspiring me to have one taken of all four of us. I am in so few photos with the kids because I have been unhappy with my weight for the past 12 years (Note: Lindsay is 12...hmmm).
I need to make it a priority. Miss you guys.
I'm in the same boat as you, Kirstie---I look over our pictures and realize I'm almost never in any of them! I'm so ashamed of myself for re-gaining all that weight I lost in 2004! Food is just too good and too tempting!
Alice,
I think you are missing the point. I admire the person that you are SO much I don't even notice the weight. I would not notice if you were 50 pounds lighter or 50 pounds heavier because I think you are beautiful. "Store up for yourself treasures in heaven . . ." that is your spirit. That is where I see such treasure. The beauty of your spirit pours from you and makes you a beauty to behold on the outside as well. Loose weight if it will make you feel better and better serve HIM . . . but not to be beautiful to the world. Those who know you . . . already think you are beautiful. I am one of them.
